HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The University of Hawaii beach volleyball team will have two pairs compete at the AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach National Championships Friday to Sunday, Nov. 3–5, in Alabama. Senior and two-time All-American Kaylee Glagau will pair with freshman Julia Thelle, while veterans Jaime Santer and Pani Napoleon – who earned a bid at last month’s West Coast Qualifiers – will compete for the Rainbow Wahine.

The event, which is presented by the U.S. Marine Corps, is in its second year and will again feature a women’s pairs national championship and a men’s team national championship. The women’s competition brings together 64 pairs from 40 NCAA Division I and II beach programs across the United States. The bulk of the bids—52 of the 64—were offered based on selection criteria utilizing 2023 results/records, and the final 12 went to top place winners at regional qualifiers.

Volleyball World will provide live coverage of this weekend’s marquee matches. On Saturday and Sunday, VBTV will broadcast center-court matches from the men’s team championship and from bracket play of top women’s pairs leading up to the championship match on Sunday. Details on how to watch will be posted on the event website and AVCA social prior to the tournament.

The schedule for the tournament will include pool play for the women’s pairs on Friday, followed by bracket play on Saturday and Sunday. The format ensures that all pairs will play each of the three days.

More details on the AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach National Championships are available on the event info page. Check that page and AVCA social media for the broadcast schedule.
