Frederick invites kids and pets to celebrate Howl-O-Ween Oct. 21

Frederick is welcoming families and kids of all ages to the annual Howl-O-Ween celebration Oct. 21 in Crist Park.

The event, which will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., will include a Trick-or-Treat adventure where kids will have the opportunity to stop at local businesses and sponsors for candy before taking on an inflatable corn maze, visiting a gourmet food truck and showing off their furry friend’s costumes in the Big Beat Bazaar Pet Costume Contest, according to a Frederick release.

Prizes will be awarded to the costume contest winners for the funniest, biggest and most unique costumes, the release stated. Pet owners can also join in the fun with prizes set for the best pet and owner duo costume.

Families can end the night by visiting the Miners Museum from 5 to 7 p.m. for Colorado’s Tiniest Haunted House Tours.
