The Georgia Bulldogs blew out the Ball State Cardinals, 45-3, at home. The defending back-to-back national champions move to 2-0.
Against the Cardinals, the Bulldogs had another slow start. The two teams combined for a scoreless first quarter, but Georgia scored 31 points in the second quarter to build a huge lead. Georgia used three interceptions and a Mekhi Mews punt return for a touchdown to overwhelm Ball State in the second quarter.
Georgia quarterback Carson Beck finished 23 of 32 for 283 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Beck and the Georgia offense had an unsettled start with a punt and a missed field goal, but the Dawgs looked better as the game went on.

Expectations in Athens are high
We could win a third natty and people would be like “UGA may have 3-peat’d but that first quarter vs Ball State. Idk”
