Gibson and Owen Counties are among the latest Indiana counties to issue Burn Bans due to drought conditions.
They join 26 other Hoosier counties in issuing bans.
Among them are Daviess, Martin, Knox, Sullivan, Greene, Lawrence, Clay, Vigo, Perry, and Orange Counties.
Lawrence County, Illinois is also under a Burn Ban.
According to the Indiana Drought Monitor, much of the surrounding area is in a moderate drought.
