CROWN POINT — The man shot to death after allegedly breaking into a Hammond apartment early Saturday with the intention of robbing residents has been identified as 22-year-old Alijah Adams of Bourbonnais, Illinois, according to the Lake County Coroner’s Office.
Adams sustained multiple gunshot wounds and following an autopsy Saturday, the coroner ruled the death a homicide.
