Hank Aaron and 27 other home run hitters from Alabama

On Friday, St. Louis second baseman Brendan Donovan cracked a home run in the Cardinals’ 13-9 loss to the Boston Red Sox in Fenway Park.

A former Enterprise High School standout who played at South Alabama, Donovan is the most recent player with Alabama baseball roots to hit an MLB homer. The second home run of the 2025 season for Donovan was the 32nd of his MLB career.
