The University of Delaware reported an “environmental health and safety incident” Wednesday afternoon at the University of Delaware Lammot DuPont Laboratory at 175 The Green Lane:
As a result of the incident the university and UD the Delaware State Police EOD will be conducting a controlled detonation on Center Green. There will be a loud noise associated with the detonation.
Students are others are advised to continue to avoid the area. Those needing assistance can call UDPD 831-2222 or 911 if you need emergency assistance.
UD police reported that the following buildings remain closed.

- Allison Hall
- Hugh Morris Library
- Brown Lab
- Drake Lab
