How to Build Toy Train Tracks

The Timber Line Express line of toy train woodworking projects deserves a track setup as elegant as they are. Each track piece consists of a sturdy base and a guiding top track that the train wheels straddle. Hidden by the top track, dovetailed sockets in the base accept bowtie-shaped connectors to join the track pieces and allow you to customize the track to your liking.

Six sections of long straight track and eight sections of inner curved track form a simple oval shape that serves as a good starter track layout.
