Everyone get ready for a late night in Starkville. Alabama opens the road portion of its SEC schedule this Saturday with an 8 p.m. kickoff at Mississippi State.
Alabama hasn’t lost to Mississippi State since Nick Saban’s first season with the Crimson Tide in 2007. The Bulldogs are now led by first-year head coach Zach Arnett after the untimely death of Mike Leach in December.
The two teams are on opposite ends of the SEC West standings in the early portion of the season. The Tide opened SEC play with a win over Ole Miss behind a strong second-half performance. The Bulldogs got blown out by LSU before losing a back-and-forth game with South Carolina to drop to 0-2 in SEC play.
