Longmont will once again celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month on Friday with Longmont Pride Festival, presented by Out Boulder County.
This is the first time the free festival will take place in downtown Longmont’s Roosevelt Park, 700 Longs Peak Ave. From 4 to 8 p.m., guests can enjoy interactive games, food vendors and music performances. The event is tobacco-free and alcohol-free.
A visibility march will also be held before the festival at 3:45 p.m. LGBTQ individuals and allies are encouraged to dress festively and bring banners to represent LGBTQ-affirming groups they belong to. Participants are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. in front of the Roosevelt Park pavilion.
Longmont Pride Festival is one of several local events hosted by Out Boulder County to commemorate June as Pride Month. Other events and more information about the nonprofit can be found at outboulder.org/pride.
