Look at some of these homes in eastern Idaho with colorful and creative Halloween displays

IDAHO FALLS — It’s time to get spooky! Halloween is almost here and so many homes in eastern Idaho are decorated for the season.

We asked our users to share who has the best Halloween displays in the area. Many of you responded.

Here are 13 of them, in no particular order.

Shane Johnson shared a picture of his spook-tacular house. It has a huge skeleton along with a giant spider and witch. You can find the decorations at 820 Webster Street in Montpelier.

Amanda Higbee sent us a picture of her friend’s home with an arch that says “Beware” and pumpkins that look like they are cackling. The house can be found at 1560 Golden Gate in Pocatello.

People can take their picture under the towering skeletons in Brandon and Jessica DesFosses’ Halloween display at 5109 Tree Valley Road in Chubbuck. All they ask is that people donate some food or $1 to the Idaho Food Bank as a part of Haunting for Hunger.

Stephanie Goodrich sent us photos of a cemetery that says “The dead-er the better.” It includes a garage door display and huge spider web. See the decorations at 4633 Pahsimeroi Drive in Chubbuck.

At the home of Ron Winters, 1389 Sawtooth Street in Chubbuck, there’s a Halloween display with a host of spooky characters. His son, Brad Winters, decorates the yard every year.

Kelli Call sent pictures of skeletons taking over her yard. She said her husband made the large props. If you want to check it out, it’s at 168 North Center in Rexburg.

April Covert Barzee sent a picture of skeletons scattered around her property. One is even getting roasted over a fire. It’s at Bannock Avenue in Idaho Falls.

Veronica Ibarra has a house with a towering werewolf and skeleton. There’s many creatures that will be sure to scare you at night! The house is at 302 8th Street in Idaho Falls.

Matt Allred in Rexburg has a Halloween Chalk Art display that gets bigger and better every time. Watch his time lapse video below. His decorations are at Morgan Drive and Mill Hollow.

Austin Allen has tombstones, statues, and cemetery gates that are made by hand. You can check out his decorations on the 600 block of 11th Street in Idaho Falls.

Pam Colling has a ghost arc with all sorts of scary characters in her yard. The address is 2761 Sagebrush Avenue in Iona.

Dustin Jennings has a huge display at 3843 East 22 North in Rigby. It takes several days to set up.

Last but not least, a very popular display in Idaho Falls called “Owens Lights” is back for its 17th year. People can listen to spook music on the radio while watching dancing lights from their vehicles. The show is created through the use of over 130,000 red, green, and blue pixels. This will be the final season for Owens Lights.
