Two newcomers–Diego Dalisay and Quinn Snyder recently represented UH in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.. Both Rainbow Warriors won their opening match in the pre-qualifying round in three sets. Dalisay defeated Tulsa’s Gus Tettamamble (6-4, 4-6, 6-3) while Snyder battled back after dropping the first set to knock off Kentucky’s Mattew Rankin (4-6, 6-4, 6-4). Both Dalisay and Snyder are the only two Rainbow Warriors to have competed in both the Battle in the Bay and the ITA All-American.
Last year, Hawai’i went 11-9 overall while finishing fourth in the Big west with a 3-3 conference record. The Rainbow Warriors have five returnees led by senior Guillaume Tattevin and juniors Karl Collins and Kilian Maitre.
