Most violent crime is at its lowest rate in New Haven, according to police data from the past 10 years.
Compared to statistics from 2024, police are seeing a huge drop in non-fatal shootings and confirmed shots fired. Police also note a decrease in property crime and other crime including vandalism, drugs and weapon violations.
