The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection’s Liquor Control Division is offering a friendly reminder that package stores will be closed and grocery stores will not be selling alcohol on Thanksgiving Day.
Breweries are not permitted to sell for off-premise consumption, and restaurants are prohibited from selling drinks to go.
“This is our annual reminder that if you want to have alcohol on hand during your Thanksgiving Day festivities you must make those purchases prior to Thursday,” said DCP commissioner Bryan T. Cafferelli.
