Parts of Connecticut are recovering Monday from ferocious rainfall that led to a number of rescues across the state, one person dead and another missing as numerous roads were flooded and washed out.
The search for two people who were swept away by flood waters in Oxford resumed Monday morning before one of them was found dead, according to town officials.
