The following is a news release from the Idaho Transportation Department.

IDAHO FALLS — The Idaho Transportation Department will close Yellowstone Highway from A Street to Cliff Street from 6 a.m. Sunday to 5:30 a.m. Monday for paving. Broadway Avenue to Elm Street will also be detoured. No through traffic will be allowed, but drivers will still be able to access businesses.

This project is part of two intersection upgrades that have been ongoing. This is the last closure that is expected and will complete the upgrades to the intersections.

Drivers should use other routes to avoid delays.

For updates on traffic impacts on state highways and interstates, drivers should check 511.idaho.gov before traveling.
