U.S. Senator Tom Carper (D-Del.) announced Natasha Dabrowski will serve as communications director in his personal office.
“I am so pleased to welcome Natasha Dabrowski on as my new Communications Director,” U.S. Senator Tom Carper. “Natasha is a skilled communicator with a passion for public service who brings invaluable experience to the Senate. I’m confident that she will make an excellent addition to my team as we continue to serve the people of Delaware.”
Dabrowski was formerly a political appointee serving as Press Secretary for AmeriCorps, the federal agency for national service and volunteerism. She joined the administration after serving as Battleground States Coalition Communications Director on the Biden-Harris campaign. Prior to this role, she worked as the Communications Director and Senior Advisor for the New Democrat Coalition in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Dabrowski has also held a number of roles on presidential, congressional, and statewide political campaigns. Prior to her career in public service, Dabrowski worked as a member of the public affairs and policy team at Penta. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She also holds a trade policy certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School.
Beebe Medical Group welcomes Diamond Micielli, FNP-C, to its team of nurse practitioners. Serving patients at Beebe Internal Medicine Milton, Micielli cares for people with a wide range of health issues, and also serves as a valuable resource for patients focused on health maintenance and wellness.
Micielli is a graduate of Walden University, where she earned a Master of Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Wilmington University, and an associate degree in nursing from Delaware Technical Community College.
Throughout her career, Micielli has pursued continued education opportunities and professional certifications, to advance her skill set and knowledge. She is certified to provide advanced cardiac, pediatric, and basic life support, and is also trained as a Forensic Nurse Examiner and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider. Additionally, Micielli is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Micielli’s experience at Beebe Healthcare dates back to 2008. She worked as a nurse in the Emergency Department and was part of the organization’s critical care ground transport team for many years, during which time she was pursuing and advancing her education. Most recently, she worked at Clinic by the Sea as a nurse practitioner, caring for cardiology and vascular patients. Earlier in her career, Micielli held clinical positions at Maxim Healthcare, Peninsula Homecare at Nanticoke, and Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
“As a nurse practitioner, I am committed to delivering patient-centered care with focus on the achievement of positive clinical outcomes,” Micielli said. “I am proud to be part of Beebe’s internal medicine team in Milton and grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives.”
Ruggerio, Willson & Associates, public affairs and government relations firm, announces Verity Watson has been named partner and Liam McCall has joined the firm as an associate.
Watson joined the firm in 2016 after working for the Delaware General Assembly in a non-partisan research role. In the 2022 legislative session alone, Watson was identified as the single most active lobbyist in the state of Delaware. She aided a client in securing $16.4 million in state funding, in addition to leveraging another $25 million in federal funding to fully fund reimbursement rates to support services for individuals with disabilities. Most recently, she was selected by the Delaware Business Times as a recipient of their 40 Dynamic Leaders Under 40. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware (MPA ’14) and Christopher Newport University (BA ’12).
McCall graduated cum laude from Penn State University with degrees in Political Science and Sociology. Most recently, he worked for Attorney General Kathy Jennings’ re-election campaign, where his primary focus was fundraising on the campaign trail.
Amy Nazdrowicz joins the Delaware Real Estate Women (DREW) Board of Directors.
Since 2007, DREW and its Board members have worked to build a professional community connecting women in Delaware’s commercial real estate field to one another to help support, challenge and grow. With a goal of empowering women in the industry, they hope to encourage other women to enter the industry in one of its many fields relating to commercial real estate.
Nazdrowicz is an environmental scientist and Associate with Landmark Science & Engineering. She is a professional wetland scientist with an M.S. in wildlife ecology from the University of Delaware and a B.S. in environmental science and forest biology from S.U.N.Y. College of Environmental Science and Forestry. With over 19 years as an environmental scientist, Amy has worked with many public- and private-sector clients to address land development and construction project challenges, often involving wetland mitigation and bog turtle investigations. Amy is a Qualified Bog Turtle Surveyor leading all phases of investigations in DE, PA and MD. She is an expert in wetland creation/mitigation design (including native plantings and monitoring the plant, wildlife and hydrologic conditions of mitigation wetlands), habitat assessments, and conducting Bog Turtle Investigations including construction monitoring and radio-telemetry studies.
