Alabama hit the road to take on Vanderbilt to open up conference play. The Crimson Tide opened the game with dominance but failed to run away with it, unable to score in the final four minutes of the first half.
When the clock hit zero in the second half, Alabama was leading by three. The Crimson Tide is now 1-0 in SEC play and has improved to 9-5 overall on the season.
After losing a handful of games to start the year against some difficult opponents, Alabama looks to take over the SEC to boost their chances of not just making the NCAA tournament, but to improve their seeding.
