Quiet again today-still watching rain & storms Friday

Another quiet day ahead today with a similar sky to what we have been seeing lately as sun gives way to more clouds mixing in & some smoke too! Temperatures move up a few more degrees and even warmer tomorrow. A cold front will squeeze rain and storms out over Connecticut Friday afternoon and evening before gorgeous weather arrives for Saturday and through Father’s Day! Heating up next week!

The tropics remain mostly quiet! other than a tropical wave bringing very heavy rain amounts & flooding to Florida.

Today: Sun & clouds mixing in again with comfortable humidity. Some wildfire smoke will dim the sun this afternoon. It could create a pretty sunset! Highs in the upper 70s to around 80.

Tonight: Mainly clear with a few fog patches. Lows in the middle 50s to lower 60s.

Tomorrow: Sun, clouds, warmer & more humid. Highs in the upper 70s to middle 80s.

Friday: Warm and humid with rain and thunderstorms for the afternoon & evening hours. Some storms could be severe with a strong wind gust and hail. Highs in the upper 70s to middle 80s.

Saturday: Bright and much less humid with highs around 80 degrees.

Father’s Day: Mostly sunny & nice with highs around 80 degrees.

Monday: Another quiet day with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Tuesday: Heating up with highs in the 80s to low 90s.

Wednesday: Hazy, hot & humid with highs in the middle 80s shore to 90-95 most of the state.
