TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A school bus driver has been charged in connection to a deadly motorcycle crash in Torrington, according to police.
Police said Lisa Krulicki, 63, turned herself into police on Monday for charges stemming from an active arrest warrant in connection to the crash.
The fatal crash occurred at 6:15 a.m. on Sept. 21, 2022, at the intersection of Torringford Street and Greenwoods Road.
Police said Krulicki was driving an Allstar Transportation school bus when she made a left turn in front of a motorcycle allegedly causing the crash.
The motorcyclist identified as 24-year-old Zachary Zecchin of Winsted was flown to Hartford Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No children were on the school bus at the time of the crash.

The arrest follows a months-long investigation into the fatal crash. Authorities said Krulicki cooperated with the investigation.
She was charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle and failure to yield while making a left turn.
She was processed and released on a $5,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in Torrington Superior Court on July 3.
