GOOD MORNING!
For most of my life, I was not a morning person.
It took me a long time to wake up and find my bearings. I wouldn’t find my groove until around noon. Nights were when I was most creative. The ideas came to me and I could easily stay up late, writing and dreaming.
Then something shifted, and I started to enjoy my mornings. I find the stillness before the day begins to be a time of contemplation, silence, and beauty. I love the way the morning light plays with the sky. I love the feeling of the world waking up and the start of a new day. Beginnings always feel fresh and exciting. Each morning holds such promise.
In this book, I want to provide you with encouragement, inspiration, and something to think about each day. Mornings are a time of expansion.
As we fill our lungs with air and move our limbs, we go from the state of rest and sleep to being fully awake. I thought about readers who are tired and discouraged, as well as readers who jump out of bed ready to seize the day. I wanted these passages to bring balance and mindfulness to you.
