The temple architecture of Kerala and it’s master carpenters have long been associated with some of the finest work that has been produced by the South-Indian state.

Raghu ashaan, a master carpenter who has worked on restoration projects involving some of the oldest temples in Kerala, speaks of the pain of not being recognised for their contribution to keeping the State’s historical glory alive.
