CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Three University of Hawai’i women’s golfers repeated as All-American Scholars announced by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
Sophomores Ting-Yu Liu, Hyeonji Kang, and Mayumi Umezu were also named to the list last year.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 with a total of 1,401 women’s collegiate golfers representing 378 programs earning the prestigious recognition in 2022-23.
This year marks the fifth consecutive year and ninth time in the last 11 years that at least one Rainbow Wahine was named to the All-American Scholar Team.
