SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Keilah Wilkes added her name to the program’s top 10 list with the 10th-fastest 6k time in school history to lead the Hawai’i women’s cross country team in its final regular season meet Saturday at the Bronco Invitational.
Wilkes led the pack of eight Rainbow Wahine with a time of 21:32.9 to move into 10th all-time in UH history in 6k races. The sophomore led the ‘Bows to a 19th-place finish against a strong field in the final tune-up before the Big West Championships.
Great efforts overall by the group this morning, highlighted by Keilah and her top-10 performance,” said head coach Tim Boyce. “Nice breakthrough efforts by Alizee Garcia Parsons, who crushed it, and Melanie Pakingan in her first collegiate travel meet.
