
A travel trailer caught fire in Perris, sending one person to a hospital on Sunday, Oct. 6.
The fire broke out about 6:25 p.m. in the 2600 block of Murrieta Road and was extinguished in less than 20 minutes, a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson said.
Five engines, one truck and one fire chief responded to the scene.
A person who was inside the burning trailer was transported to a hospital for treatment, Cal Fire/Riverside reported. Information regarding the severity of the patient’s injuries was not immediately released.
The cause of the fire was under investigation Sunday evening.
