A 27-year-old man was fatally shot on a sidewalk near his family’s apartment in San Bernardino early Saturday morning, Oct. 12, police said.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at around 3:20 a.m. near Rainbow Lane and Reedy Avenue, according to authorities. When officers arrived they found Ayo Hullett, of San Bernardino, on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
He was transported to a local hospital and died nearly one hour after the shooting, Homicide Sgt. Albert Tello said.
“We do have a suspect,” he said. “But not prepared to release (the) name just yet, as we are looking now.”
