1. Haunt

Get into the Halloween spirit with a Seadog Haunted River Tour. During a 75-minute cruise down the Chicago River, you’ll learn about the city’s supernatural stories and infamous figures while enjoying views of iconic architecture. Costumes are welcome.

Details: 5 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October, with a Halloween tour at 5 p.m. Oct. 31 at Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave. $50-55 ages 13+; $40-45 ages 3 to 12 / MAP

2. Laugh

The Latina Comedy Festival is back for its second year with three days of performances showcasing more than 35 of the country’s top Latina comedians. A marathon show includes rapid-fire sets, while the headliner show highlights Chicago’s very own Gwen La Roka.
