Due to the inclement weather forecast, cold temps and a chance for ice or snow on the route, Boulder County and city planning staffs have postponed a guided bike tour around Boulder to showcase local examples of community planning.

The tour, originally planned for Friday, will now be from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 18

The 10- to 15-mile ride will start and end at the Boulder Civic Center Area and will include stops at Alpine-Balsam, Foothills Park, Holiday Park, Elks Park, Pleasant View Fields, Cottonwood Trail and Boulder Junction. Afterward, staff members will hold a happy hour and Bohemian Biergarten on 13th Street just north of the Pearl Street Mall.

While the tour is free and open to the public, advance online registration is requested. Register at bit.ly/325pyRf.
