Boulder police investigating felony menacing
Boulder police are investigating a felony menacing that occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 8., in the parking lot of the Spirit Halloween Store, located at 2798 Arapahoe Ave.
Three men were walking in the parking lot after purchasing clown masks at the Halloween store. One of the men was wearing his mask. The group was confronted by a man who shined a very bright flashlight on them and then pointed and cocked a gun at them and said, “Watch out with that (expletive).” The victims ran off and the suspect got in a white Chevy Avalanche that was parked in the parking lot. The suspect is described as a heavy-set male with a grey and white beard. The race of the suspect is unknown at this time.
The victims are students at the University of Colorado in Boulder. They recently arrived in the United States and did not know what to do after the crime occurred. The day after the incident occurred, they contacted the International English Center at the University of Colorado who immediately notified Boulder police.

Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
