The Boys and Girls Club of Delaware rolled out the Maverick remote music studio on Thursday. The studio, a tricked out former school bus, is aimed at reaching members of more than 40 clubs statewide and includes a podcast area. The studio builds on a successful program at the Greater Newark club in Bear that caters to teens’ interests, and is also used as a way to introduce conversations on issues facing youth, such as drug use and pregnancy prevention. The studio made its first stop at a meeting of the Newark Morning Rotary Club while on its way to an event in Seaford.
