Documenting the building of a timber frame sign by local artisans Jeff Van de Walker and Craig Marble. The sign was commissioned by Century College in White Bear Lake Minnesota. It marks the beginning of the Ducks (College Mascot) Leadership course that will be used for building teamwork and communication skills. The sign is constructed with local naturally fallen timbers using traditional mortise and tenon joinery. The timbers are connected using hand forged rivets and washers.
