A child was injured when he tried to help another get out of a house during a fire, officials said.Orange County Fire Rescue said the fire on Karok Street in Avalon Park started when another child lit a lighter in a bedroom.Officials said the child who was injured saw the flames inside the house and punched a window to help get the other out.He was treated on the scene. Authorities said the fire was contained to the closet.
