The City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Department will close the Chautauqua Trail west of the city’s Ranger Cottage starting as early as Monday, Sept. 23, to conduct maintenance repairs along the trail.
This closure will be in place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 23, through Thursday, Sept. 26, while OSMP regrades the trail. The department encourages visitors to check its interactive trail map to plan alternate routes around this planned closure.
