A second armed robbery in a Rancho Cucamonga neighborhood this month has the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department looking for leads.

The first robbery was on Oct. 3 when several men approached a residence on the 6700 block of Dicarlo Place, tied the residents up, pepper sprayed them and stole multiple things from the house.

A man, a woman and two boys were pepper sprayed during the robbery, the Sheriff’s Department said.

The second robbery came a mere 11 days later on Monday night, less than a half-mile from the previous robbery, when several men approached someone in their driveway on the 13000 block of Carnesi Drive. The armed suspects forced the victim into the residence.

Those suspects stole multiple items and left the area.

Authorities said sheriff’s deputies responded to the area just after 7 p.m. Detectives are investigating both robberies, but with limited leads. No suspect descriptions were immediately available.

The Sheriff’s Department asked anyone with information to contact the Rancho Cucamonga station at 909-477-2800. Those who want to remain anonymous can call We Tip at 1-800-782-7463.
