In this course, Frank Strazza will show you how to put your dovetail making skill to use in an actual project–a simple dovetailed box with a hinged lid.

After carefully laying out the pieces for color and grain direction, you’ll cut and glue up the corner dovetails, plane, scrape, and sand it, then attach the top with hinges and add the bottom.

Once you’re done, you can embellish your box with carving, inlay and more, and it makes a great gift.
