This video demonstrates how my router table is used to make bit to fence distance, and bit height adjustments.
The router table fence is custom built, with a linear positioner at the center of the design. This positioner makes micro adjustments extraordinarily easy.
The table top and router lift are from Jessem, it’s the Jessem Mast-R-Lift Excel II. A very well made router lift, that allows the operator to adjust the bit height from the side of the table.
The dial indicator is mounted to a custom-built fitting, that attaches with magnets to the router fence top. The dial indicator is a Fowler 52-530-110-0, which I like because it has two needles, for metric and imperial markings.
The music is by Great Elephant Trybe, which was a funk/jazz band that I played the drums for in the mid-90s.
