THE WEEK. COURTNEY: THE EDGEWATER EAGLES HAVE SOARED THROUGH THE FIRST FIVE GAMES. WEKIVA CAME IN WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAND THE EAGLES THEIR FIRST LOSS. EDGEWATER RANKED THIRD, DOWN 20 17 IN THE FIRST QUARTER. THIS YEAR’S TEAM IS NEVER REALLY OUT OF IT. WHAT THIS TAKES I IN 46, 21-21 AT THE BREAK. HANDOFF TO ISAIAH CALMLY. HE TAKES IT 20 YARDS FOR THE SCORE. MOBLEY ON THE RUN. NOTHING BUT SPACE AND OPPORTUNITY. EDGEWATER SCORES, THEN MORE FROM CONLEY. HE STAYS ON HIS FEET. This week’s Game of the Week put two unbeaten teams against each other. Wekiva went to Edgewater to battle and keep one their winning streaks alive. WESH 2’s Courtney Jasmin was there as Edgewater kept their streak alive and took down Wekiva 52 to 21.
