LITTLE PERSPECTIVE ON THE HISTORY WITH ERIC BURRIS. ERIC: IT’S INTERESTING WILL LOOK BACK TO THE PAST, BECAUSE THERE ARE TWO STORMS THAT COME TO MIND QUICKLY THAT COMPARE. THE FIRST ONE WAS NOT LONG AGO. STARTING OFF WITH THE CURRENT FORECAST FOR DORIAN, SHADED IN RED THERE. IN BLUE, I WANT TO REFERENCE A STORM TONY AND I SPENT MANY HOURS COVERING, WHICH IS HURRICANE MATTHEW, NOT THAT LONG AGO. WHEN BACK IN 1999, I CAN REMEMBER WATCHING THIS ONE ON TELEVISION, HURRICANE FLOYD APPROACHED CENTRAL FLORIDA AND CURVED BACK OUT TO SEA. THE CURRENT OUT PROCESS ON DORIAN IS TO KEEP IT CENTERED BETWEEN THOSE FORECAST COMES A LITTLE FURTHER AWAY THAN MATTHEW WAS, AT LEAST THAT IS THE THOUGHT. BUT THE FUTURE OF DORIAN HAS NOT BEEN WRITTEN YET, IT COULD BE AS FAR TO THE LEFT AS SCRAPING THE COASTLINE AND AS FAR TO THE RIGHT AS HURRICANE FLOYD WAS. IN TERMS OF IMPACTS, WE ARE ST
