IRS wants to reimburse Calif. taxpayers $92 million. Do you qualify?

A trove of cash could be forfeited if Californians fail to complete their 2021 tax returns by next month, according to the Internal Revenue Service.

The IRS is currently sitting on about $92.3 million, ready to be dispersed among 116,300 state taxpayers who have yet to file their returns for that tax year, the agency said in a news release Tuesday.
