The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.
ST. ANTHONY — Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle crash that happened on U.S. Highway 20 at milepost 348, north of St. Anthony.
The crash happened at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
A 66-year-old woman, from St. Anthony, was traveling south on 2600 East, in a Kia Sorento. A 64-year-old man from Billings, Montana, was traveling eastbound on US-20, in a Kenworth Tractor.
The driver of the Kia Sorento failed to yield to the stop sign and the vehicles collided.
The driver of the Kia Sorento was not wearing a seat belt and was transported via ground ambulance to the local hospital.
The driver of the Kenworth was wearing a seat belt and was not transported.
The southbound lane of US-20 and the block of 2600 East was blocked for approximately three hours.
