Matthew Nathan Drudge is a commentator that explores American political issues. He is the editor of The Drudge Report and he has a radio show that he hosts. He was born October 27, 1966. As a child, he was very independent and often listened to radio shows and read the newspaper. He didn’t have many friends but he enjoyed talking to adults about world issues including politics.

His mother was a staff attorney for U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy. This gave him a bit of exposure to the world of politics on a level that most kids never have access to. In spite of being very intelligent, he didn’t apply himself at school at all. He graduated – but was ranked # 341 out of #355.

His first real job was as a telemarketer for Time Life Books during the early 1980s. He also worked part time at 7-Eleven to make extra money. The Drudge Report was a huge hit, but it was something he did for free in the little bit of spare time he had. It was a great deal of opinion rather than fact, but people were drawn to it.

In 1995, there were 1,000 online subscribers. By 1997, there were 85,000 subscribers. He has written several books that made their way to the best sellers list. He has been called the next Walter Cronkite. His latest issue to share with people is that he isn’t a fan of Obamacare.

When Matt Drudge talks, it holds weight. He isn’t afraid to tackle the controversial issues or people that are part of the political arena. That is why some people love him and some people hate him.
