The property housing Niwot’s former Colterra Food & Wine has sold for $625,000.
The sale of fire-damaged restaurant building at 210 Franklin St. was announced Thursday by NavPoint Real Estate Group. The purchaser was a local investor with extensive development experience in Boulder County, according to the news release.
Colterra operated at the location from 2005 until fall 2017 when a fire severely damaged the main restaurant building. The property also includes a historic house fronting Second Avenue that was unharmed in the blaze.
The 10,500-square-foot property was listed for sale in mid-July with an asking price of $625,000. The listing described it as an “ideal site for mixed-use, retail or restaurant with second-level residences,” that needs to be remodeled.
