Off-duty Florida paramedic saves man from burning vehicle

BELLEVIEW, Fla. (WFLA) — An off-duty paramedic is being hailed a hero after he saved a man who was trapped in a burning vehicle, Marion County Fire Rescue announced Monday.

Just after 7 a.m., fire rescue crews responded to reports of a vehicle crash near Exit 341 Northbound on I-75. On scene, crews found a vehicle had veered off the road, struck a tree, and then burst into flames.
