On August 12th, 2018, Redditor Shivam091 posted the first known captioned screenshot to DankMemes (shown below). The post gained 7,500 points (94% upvoted) in the first month.

August 30th, 2018, Redditor jr1477 posted the image to the subreddit r/FakeHistoryPorn featuring the caption, “Allah speaking to the prophet Muhammad after revealing Islam (circa 700 CE).” The post acquired 36,000 points (82% upvoted) within the first week (shown below).
