The City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Department will remove five, non-native ash trees at its Ranger Cottage Tuesday, Sept. 10.

OSMP is removing these trees because two of the five trees show indications of Emerald Ash Borer infestation.

The department is also removing these trees to prevent dead tree limbs from falling and harming visitors, along with damaging visitors’ vehicles and OSMP’s Ranger Cottage.

OSMP will replace the five non-native ash trees with native trees and shrubs. For more information, please contact OSMP at 303-441-3440.
