Schooley Earns B1G Freshman of the Week Honors

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — No. 4-ranked Illinois men’s gymnastics freshman Garrett Schooley has earned B1G Freshman of the Week honors after his performance in the Windy City Invitational on Jan. 13 in Chicago.

•    Finished second in the all-around at Saturday’s Windy City Invitational

•    Placed third in the floor exercise and earned a top-10 spot in the pommel horse

•    Earns his first Freshman of the Week award
