Naismith Trophy Preaseason Watch List

CHAMPAIGN, Ill.– The Atlanta Tipoff Club released on Monday the preseason top-50 watch list for the Naismith Trophy Men’s College Player of the Year. 

Highlighting the watch list is Fighting Illini senior Terrence Shannon Jr., one of just seven Big Ten players selected among the 50 players nationally for preseason distinction.

This is the latest honor for Shannon, who was a unanimous selection to the Preseason All-Big Ten Team, is on watch lists for NABC Division I Player of the Year and Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year, and is a Preseason All-American by FOX Sports, CBS Sports and Blue Ribbon.
