The band said they called the owner of the tour bus company in Nashville who told them a cat lived on the lot and had kittens a few weeks ago.
According to the band, the company said the cat lived on an abandoned bus but must have moved her kittens to Sister Hazel’s bus before they left Nashville.
Not only did the kittens take a 9 hour trip to Destin, Florida, but then another 6 hour trip to Ocala before they were discovered.
Luckily, an employee at the Ocala venue, Melissa Brady, who runs Melissa Bell’s Rescue, and was able to not only feed the kittens but get them checked out.
Sadly, while the kittens were being checked out and nursed back to health, their mother was struck and by a delivery van in Nashville.
