Traffic deaths are down in Connecticut, something lawmakers and experts hope is a sign that a deadly trend is reversing.
“Anytime we have great news we have to celebrate that,” Sen. Paul Cicarella (R-North Haven) said.
There have been 110 traffic-related deaths through June 25, down 31% from last year’s 160 at this time.
Last year ended with 310 traffic deaths…
