Woman collects unused medical supplies to help countries in need

If it weren’t for Elizabeth McLellan, unused medical supplies would end up in the trash.McLellan collects supplies from hospitals and health care facilities across New England. McLellan’s inspiration came when she was working as a nurse in a hospital in Saudi Arabia.

“I said to myself, ‘We have so much, so much in our country, and they have so little, and someday when I go home, I’m going to figure this problem out,'” McLellan said.
